The existing dock fell way short of meeting the client's needs. We replaced a 30 year old 350 square foot dock with a 700 square foot dock with an L-shaped Tile roof and composite decking. The composite deck was installed using a hidden fastener system! The 60 foot walkway has a 2.5" twisted nylon rope handrail and lights. Other features on this dock include steps into the lake, a catwalk, a fresh water line and swim ladder.

New 500 square foot dock with an L-shaped roof. Oversized boat slip, 10' finished size, accommodated what is probably the biggest boat on the lake. Raised walkway poles and 100 year architectural shingles (to match the house) finish out this dock. We overcame a significant permitting challenge to maximize the length of the overall structure.

Enclosures are no longer permissible in new construction on this lake. Needless to say, this client did not want to loose his 8' x 10 closet. This dock was permitted under the Grandfathered Dock repair provision. The configuration remained the same while the engineering was brought up to date, including replacing the 4" x 6 pilings 6" x 6 pilings.

Built in phases to preserve the Grandfathered status. We had to retain the existing footprint, but that didnít keep up from maxíing out the roof height to accommodate a wakeboard boat and tower. The many features on this dock include an L-shaped roof, 12" walkway poles for lighting, built in benches with a table, custom mounted dock box, swim ladder and a fresh water line.

This canal lot with a 40 year old dock over an upland cut boat slip yielded way to a fun and expansive outdoor space. A Seawall, Boathouse and Multi-tier Deck were built. Permitting challenges had to be overcome. As you can see, the results made the challenges worthwhile.

This client, a senior citizen, wanted to enjoy the views on his lake and fishing with his grandchildren. We built a walkway with a handrail and a small Dock/Fishing platform.

This client wanted to preserve his property and still have beach access to the lake. We installed two seawalls with a total four turns and two returns which created a beach. We utilized corrugated vinyl sheet pilings with a concrete cap.

This homeowner had legitimate concerns that their retaining wall was in jeopardy of failing. The old retaining wall had to be removed in sections while the new wall was replacing the old wall a section at a time.

This dock was originally built for an 18' pontoon boat and the client's 22' ski boat did not fit under the roof. We extended the boat slip and created a new V-berth and walkway. Later we were asked to return and widen their four foot activity deck from four feet to ten feet wide.

PWC floating Shoreport had partially sunken. The float was removed from the water then drained. The hole found and patched.

This homeowner had the foresight to include a PWC slip in the dock design. For this custom installation, deckboards had to be removed to accommodate the Shoreport mounting poles. We also added a third pole for additional strength and a baffle under the dock for protection from broadside wake waves.

Client Testimonials:

"I've lived on the lake for a long time and over the years Iíve had several repairs and modifications on my dock. Well it was time for more repairs as erosion was reeking havoc on my shoreline. My seawall had been undermined and my yard was washing out. Also, the beginning of my dock which originally had a smooth transition off of the beach was now an annoying step down then up. The first estimate that I received from an established dock builder proposed patchwork, and I believed that was my only option...until I spoke with Rafael. DNS properly repaired my seawall and extended my dock to reach the seawall in such a way that I can barely tell where the new work meets the original work."
